This event will be conducted in Chinese and English.
Chinese students face many challenges and difficulties academically, socially, and culturally in the United States, on and off campus. EducationUSA China launches a new series to help soon-to-depart Chinese students and prospective Chinese students be prepared for their life in the United States.
This new “success” series focuses on practical life skills and realistic expectations about living and studying in the United States. The first session of this new series will focus on practical ways to improve your English proficiency before you leave China and while you are studying in the United States. We welcome your participation!
NOTE: This event is open to the general public free of charge. Audio or video recording of the program will not be permitted. Press inquiries should be directed to the U.S. Embassy Press Office.
You must bring a valid photo ID and your registration confirmation email in order to get into the Beijing American Center (BAC). Large bags will not be allowed into the program area of BAC.
You must arrive at the Embassy BAC entrance no later than half an hour of the program starting time for check in. You will NOT be admitted if you arrive half an hour after the program has started.
